Reminder to the community: the applications for summer youth workers are due at the District Office by Thursday at 5PM. ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE TURNED IN TO BE COMPLETE. We are looking for 40 students for two groups starting on June 5 and June 26. Welcome back to Jaymes Siqueiros, our two-time summer youth monitor! Also this Saturday will be the Nation's election for District and Legislative Council. Sample ballots are hanging in our office. We encourage all members to look them over for your respective community before voting day. And VOTE VOTE VOTE!

TOMORROW the Sells District Economic Development Committee will be holding a school uniform sale in the Sells District Conference Room. Come see all the sizes, colors and prices, which will be 20% off and it is CASH ONLY. We also want to welcome our new Treasurer Evelyn Juan-Manuel from Ge Oidag, a former Legislative Representative and outgoing District council member. Reminder that the second Back 2 School planning meeting is set for Monday at 5:30PM. Have a great weekend everyone!

This weekend two groups will be hosting fundraising bingos, so get out there and support the community. Tomorrow from 10-3PM the Outer Sells District Elders will have their bingo at the Sells District Office, blackout prize is $200.00! Cowlic Community will host a bingo to fundraise for their youth traveling to the United Nation Indian Tribal Youth Conference in Colorado later this year. It will be hosted at their community building from 1-6PM in Cowlic. Monday, the District will host a planning meeting for the annual Back 2 School Event in the District conference room beginning at 5:30PM.
