When filling job vacancies, per the Native American Preference Act (Title 25, U.S. Code, Section 472 and 473), the Sells District gives preference to (in sequential order):

1. Sells District Enrolled/Community members

2. Tohono O 'odham Nation Enrolled members

3. Any other Native American candidates

4. All other qualified candidates

All positions may be posted in-house for five (5) or more work days before opening job announcements to the public. All in-house job announcements are only open to full-time employees.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:
All positions will be open to the public who meet the positions' minimum qualifications. If the District does not hire a candidate within the timeframe identified on the job announcement, the position will be re-advertised.
