When filling job vacancies, per the Native American Preference Act (Title 25, U.S. Code, Section 472 and 473), the Sells District gives preference to (in sequential order):
Sells District-Enrolled/Community members
Tohono O 'odham Nation-enrolled members
Any other Native American candidates
All other qualified candidates
